An Illinois man was stopped in a stolen vehicle after he reportedly failed to stop at a red light in Cadiz Thursday night.
Cadiz Police say 55-year-old Kelly Senecal was stopped after he failed to stop at a red light on US 68 at Broadbent Boulevard causing a police officer to brake quickly to avoid a crash.
During the stop, the vehicle was reportedly found to have been reported stolen and Senecal did not have a driver’s license on him.
Senecal was arrested and charged with receiving stolen property, license to be in possession, disregard-fail to yield right of way, and disregarding a traffic light.
