“L.A.” devoted his life to serving the Lord. He was a lifelong member of Sinking Fork Baptist Church where he served as a deacon, treasurer and Sunday School teacher. L.A. was well known for his generosity, integrity and his work ethic.

He raised cattle and farmed all his life.

He was also well known for his strawberry patch, where he kept it well tended, picking and selling strawberries. L.A. enjoyed watching UK basketball and challenging others in the games of chess, Scrabble, dominoes, and other competitive games.
