A man was charged after a door and a window were found damaged on Gale Lane in Hopkinsville Sunday afternoon.
Hopkinsville Police say 19-year-old Garbriel Brewington accidentally fired a shot going through the door of the home he was in and hit a bedroom window of another home with people inside.
After further investigation, it was found that Brewington reportedly had a gun that was reported stolen.
He was arrested and charged with theft by unlawful taking and five counts of first-degree wanton endangerment.
