Man And Woman Charged With Endangering The Welfare Of An Infant

A Hopkinsville man and woman were charged with endangering the welfare of a minor after a traffic stop on East 7th Street in Hopkinsville Monday night.

Hopkinsville Police say they stopped 43-year-old Kimberly Wyatt for her expired registration plate and during the stop, she was found to have an active emergency protective order against a man in the vehicle 52-year-old Frank Williams.

After a search of the vehicle and their belongings, marijuana, meth, drug paraphernalia, and Wyatt’s infant granddaughter were found in the vehicle.

Williams was arrested and charged with endangering the welfare of a minor, violation of a Kentucky EPO/DVO, and possession of meth third or more offenses. Wyatt was also arrested and charged with endangering the welfare of a minor, violation of a Kentucky EPO/DVO, no registration plates, and possession of marijuana.
