A Hopkinsville man was charged after he ran from police during a traffic stop on East 21st Street in Hopkinsville Sunday night.
Hopkinsville Police say they stopped a vehicle driven by 26-year-old Laotis Buckley for speeding and he pulled away from officers and fled on foot to Elton Drive.
He was quickly apprehended and charged with speeding, resisting arrest, tampering with physical evidence, operating on a suspended or revoked license, and first-degree fleeing or evading police.
