A Christian County man was rushed to the hospital after he suffered burns to his body on Parsons Road Wednesday night.
Christian County emergency personnel say a 34-year-old man was burned when something exploded in a trash pile he was burning.
He was treated and transported by Hopkinsville EMS to a Nashville hospital with severe injuries. Authorities contacted multiple helicopters but due to weather they were unable to transport the man to Nashville.
