Woman Charged With Possession Of Drugs During Hopkinsville Traffic Stop

A Hopkinsville woman was charged with possession of drugs after a traffic stop on West 2nd Street Thursday afternoon.

Hopkinsville Police say they stopped a vehicle for not having a visible license plate and during the stop, they could smell the odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle.

After a search, the passenger 42-year-old Carla Taylor was reportedly found to have a meth pipe, hallucinogenic mushrooms, and synthetic marijuana.

She was arrested and charged with possession of hallucinogens and trafficking in synthetic drugs.
