Road Conditions Lead To Several Wrecks In Christian County

Christian County emergency personnel have responded to several wrecks due to slick roads Thursday night into Friday morning.

Thursday

4:26 pm – 26-mile marker of Dawson Springs Road, a crash involving a car.

4:40 pm – Pennyrile Parkway and Pembroke Road, car and truck slid off the road due to ice.

4:44 pm – 5000 block of Greenville Road, a Jeep collided with a truck due to the icy road.

6:44 pm – 7900 block of Crofton Fire Tower Road, a single-vehicle wreck ran off the road.

7:00 pm – 23-mile marker of Madisonville Road, a truck hit a guardrail.

8:06 pm – 8410 Antioch Church Road, two-vehicle crash with possible injuries.

Friday

1:24 am – 170 Roaring Springs Road, a vehicle slid off the road and overturned.
