Tommy Folz, 84, of Herndon

Funeral Mass for 84-year old Tommy Folz of Herndon will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, January 15, 2023 at Saints Peter & Paul Catholic Church.

Burial will follow in Green Hill Memorial Gardens.

A Rosary will be said on Sunday, January 14, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at Hughart, Beard & Giles Funeral Home with visitation to follow from 2:00 – 5:00 p.m.

A native of Evansville, IN he was born December 21, 1939 the son of the late Albert John Folz and Emma Marie Durcholz Folz. He was a retired farmer and he also served in the National Guard. He was a member of Saints Peter & Paul Catholic Church where he was a Eucharistic Adorer and member of the Knights of Columbus. He was a founding member of the Herndon Volunteer Fire Department.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife: Pat Folz; his brother: Charlie Folz; his sister-in-law: Norma Folz; and his brother-in-law: Jim Nichols.

Survivors include his sons: Tom (Julie) Folz, Joe (Natalie) Folz, and Tony (Jamie) Folz all of Herndon, KY; his brothers: Gary (Norma Jean) Folz of Newburgh, IN and Bill Folz of Hopkinsville, KY; his sisters: Mary Ann Nichols of Booneville, IN and Linda (Frank) Naas of Evansville, IN; his sister-in-law: Judy Folz of Hopkinsville, KY; his grandchildren: Thomas (Jessi) Folz, James Folz, Faith Folz, Macon Folz, Maggie Folz, Andrew Folz, and Maddox Folz; and his great granddaughter: Abigail Folz.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Saints Peter & Paul Catholic Church Youth Ministry or the giver’s favorite charity.
