Salvation Army Offering Relief From Anticipated Frigid Weather

As temperatures are expected to drop well below freezing this weekend and into next week, The Salvation Army of Hopkinsville is looking to provide crucial support to those in need in the community.

The Salvation Army Emergency Weather Shelter will provide a safe and warm place for people seeking refuge from the cold. The shelter will be open from 7pm to 7am the following morning, starting from Friday, January 12.

To provide relief from the weather during the day, The Salvation Army Administrative office lobby will be open beginning Tuesday, from 9am to 4pm.

For those in need of cold weather items, such as hats, gloves, and socks, The Salvation Army Administrative office is providing them while supplies last.
