Patricia Haley Spencer, 72, of Hopkinsville, KY died at 10:49 p.m. Saturday, December 16, 2023, at her residence.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 20, 2023, at Hughart, Beard & Giles Funeral Home with Rev. David Tucker officiating. Burial will follow in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Madisonville, KY. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral hour. Hughart, Beard & Giles Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
A native of Danville, KY she was born November 12, 1951, the daughter of the late Phillips and Essie Haley. She was a retired nurse and a homemaker. She was a member of Second Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Wallace “Ros” Roberts.
Survivors include her husband: Dr. Gary Spencer; her children: Tracy Spencer (Troy) Clark of Maryville, TN, and Dr. Brian (Dr. Suzanne Segbarth) Spencer of Hanson, KY; her sister: Rita Haley Roberts; and her grandchildren: Seth Spencer, Garrett Clark, Molly Spencer, Grant Clark, and Claire Spencer.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Christian County Humane Society or Second Baptist Church.
