A home on Hilltop Drive in Hopkinsville was badly damaged in a fire Friday morning.
Hopkinsville Firefighters say they were called for smoke coming from the home just after 2 a.m. and found a fire in the attic of the home when they arrived.
The fire was quickly extinguished but the structure has extensive fire and smoke damage.
The home was currently vacant and the cause of the fire was unknown.
The home is located at 150 Hilltop Drive.
