Man Charged With Burglary After Fleeing From Law Enforcement

A Hopkinsville man was charged with burglary and fleeing from law enforcement on Cypress Street Wednesday morning.

Hopkinsville Police say they received several calls about 40-year-old David Graham who had attempted to break into several houses and had made entry into one.

While looking for Graham, he reportedly fled on foot jumping fences and trying to get into other homes to hide.

Police say he was apprehended by a law enforcement K9 and was found to have infected dog bites from a prior incident where he was on someone’s property and was attacked by a dog.

Graham was taken to the hospital due to the prior injuries and was cited to court on charges of first-degree fleeing or evading police and second-degree burglary.
