Rachel Harris, age 45, of Hopkinsville passed away on Sunday, December 3, 2023, at her home of natural causes. Funeral services will be at 12:00 noon on Thursday, December 7, 2023, at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home with Roger Tucker officiating and burial to follow in Riverside Cemetery. Visitation will be at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home on Thursday, December 7, 2023, from 11:00 AM until 12:00 PM. Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home has been entrusted by the family to handle the arrangements.
Mrs. Harris was born in Hopkinsville, KY, on March 22, 1978, the daughter of Carolyn Cook Harris and the late Robert Harris, Jr. Rachel was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Robert “Bubba” Harris, III.
Survivors include mother, Carolyn Cook Harris of Hopkinsville, KY; her husband Matthew Hatcher of Hopkinsville, KY; her son, Nicholas Harris of Hopkinsville, KY; her sisters, Jennifer Boyd (Wayne) of Hopkinsville, KY, Laura Boyd (Lee) of Hopkinsville, KY, Mary Racca of Hopkinsville, KY, Rebecca Harris of Hopkinsville, KY; her grandson, Wyatt “Bug”; and several nieces and nephews.
