A dog was killed and a camper was destroyed in a fire on Oklahoma Avenue in Oak Grove Friday afternoon.
Oak Grove Firefighters say they were called just after 5 p.m. for flames coming from a camper and when they arrived the fire was mostly extinguished by a neighbor with a water hose.
The owner was not home at the time but his dog was inside the camper and was killed in the fire.
Oak Grove Police say they are investigating the cause of the fire.
