A traffic crash on Interstate 24 in Trigg County Saturday night slowed traffic in one of the westbound lanes for a short time as emergency personnel cleared the scene.
The crash occurred around 8:45 pm near the 58 mile marker in the westbound lanes and was initially thought to involve injuries. Emergency personnel from Trigg County later told Your News Edge there were no injuries, but did say the crash resulted in one lane of traffic being closed on the Interstate for a short time to allow emergency crews to remove the wrecked vehicle.
The westbound lanes of the interstate were completely reopened later Saturday evening.
