Christopher Douglas Sanders, 60, Valley View Drive, Hopkinsville, KY, passed away Sunday, November 19, 2023 at his home of natural causes.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, November 27, 2023, at Lamb Funeral Home with Chris Chambers officiating. Burial will follow in Peaceful Meadows Cemetery.
Visitation will be from noon until the service hour on Monday, November 27, 2023, at the funeral home.
A native of Hot Springs, AR, he was born December 8, 1962, the son of Douglas Richard Sanders and Aubrey Jean (Edmiaston) Weston.
Chris worked at Lee Building Products for 27 years where he was a manager. He graduated from Christian County High School Class of 1980. He was an avid dirt bike racer and a big supporter of the Hopkinsville Soap Box Derby.
He was preceded in death by his brother, David Weston; and his step-father, Arlie G. “Butch” Weston.
Survivors include his wife, Susan E. Sanders, Hopkinsville, KY; his father, Rick (Sharon) Sanders, Hopkinsville, KY; his mother, Aubrey Jean Weston, Hot Springs, AR; his brothers; Ron Weston, Hot Springs, AR, Mark Thomas, Hopkinsville, KY; and his sisters, Gabby Sanders and Julie Sanders, both of Hopkinsville, KY.
