A man was charged with theft of identity after a traffic stop on East 1st Street in Hopkinsville Monday afternoon.
Hopkinsville Police say 45-year-old Anibal Vazquez was a passenger in a vehicle that was stopped by law enforcement and he gave officers someone else’s name and date of birth as if it was his. He was also found to have an active warrant out of another state and an emergency protective order in Christian County.
Vazquez was arrested and charged with theft of identity.
