The Christian County FFA Chapter took 13 students to National FFA Convention in Indianapolis, Indiana last week. FFA Advisor Mattea Wyatt says the students had the opportunity to tour numerous exhibits from top Agricultural businesses and companies to colleges around the nation that offer agricultural programs.

The students also participated in leadership workshops offered by National FFA. They sat in on two business sessions. One of the sessions was the American Degree Ceremony, which is the greatest honor an FFA member can receive. Luke Luttrull, former CCHS student, received his American Degree!

Students also had the opportunity to tour a local Agritourism spot, Beasley’s Orchard, where they have 40,000 apple trees, cider mill, strawberry patches, raspberry patches, pumpkin patches, and much more! The students also had a great time at the Indianapolis Zoo where the got to see numerous animals and plants! There was no short of fun activities either, as the students had the opportunity to go to the Rodeo, Lainey Wilson concert, and Top Golf!
