Hopkinsville Man Charged With Transporting Drugs To Graves County

A Hopkinsville man was charged with drug trafficking in Graves County Saturday night.

Graves County Sheriff Jon Hayden says they stopped 30-year-old Dajuan Quarles on Copeland Road after receiving reports that he was transporting drugs from Hopkinsville to Graves County. During the stop fentanyl, meth, and $1,010 in cash were reportedly found in his possession.

Quarles was taken to the hospital after he allegedly claimed he had taken some fentanyl. He is charged with trafficking fentanyl second offense and possession of meth second offense.
