Funeral services for 83-year-old Wilma Faye Guinn, of Cadiz, will be 3 PM Sunday at King’s Funeral Home.
Burial will follow in the Green Hill Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be from 1 PM until the funeral hour.
Survivors include:
Two daughters, Michelle Guinn Caudill (Jeff), of Versailles, and Farrah Guinn McAlister (Brad), of Madison, Indiana;
One brother, Thomas Wilbur Schmittou, of Murray;
Three grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Rev. Bill Fort is officiating.
She died Wednesday, October 18, 2023, at her daughter’s home in Versailles.
She will be remembered by friends and acquaintances in Cadiz for her dedication to teaching young ones about Jesus at Cadiz Baptist Church for 30 years, as well as her support for local groups in town such as the Cadiz Woman’s Club and other prayer ministries like the Bereavement committee at church.
She also loved volunteering at Trigg County Elementary School, and will also be remembered for wearing fancy clothes, having an enchanting smile and being a perpetual prayer warrior.
She is forever etched in our hearts as “Mommy” and “Gran.”
