Betty Sue Maples-Dowdle, 72, of Hopkinsville passed away at 4:46 a.m. Monday, October 16, 2023.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 18, 2023, at Dogwood Funerals and Cremations of Hopkinsville. Dogwood Funerals and Cremations of Hopkinsville is in charge of arrangements. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the service hour at the funeral home.
A native of Virginia she was born March 24, 1951, the daughter of the late John Parrott and Marie Byrd. She worked in the janitorial service industry and was a franchise owner for the Service Master Corporation.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husbands Coy Maples and Robert Dowdle, and one daughter Debra Rhodes.
Survivors include her son: Derrick Maples of Hopkinsville, KY; daughter: Theresa (James) Wheeler of Hopkinsville, KY; Tonya Maples ( Brian Stout) of Hopkinsville; Sherry (Patrick) Leahy of Buena Vista, CA. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
