A Christian County man was charged with burglary after a report of a disturbance on South Virginia Street in Hopkinsville Thursday morning.
Hopkinsville Police say they were called to the home for a disturbance and found that 36-year-old Travis Peterson had forced his way into the home through a back door assaulted the owner and demanded money.
Peterson was arrested and charged with second-degree burglary.
