Funeral Services for 93 year old Mamie Soapes Wall of Hopkinsville, KY will be Thursday, October 12, 2023 at 1:00 PM at Little River Church of Christ in Hopkinsville.
Burial will follow in Green Hill Memorial Gardens in Hopkinsville.
Visitation will take place Thursday, October 12 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
Goodwin Funeral Home is in care of the arrangements.
She is survived by two sons, Larry (Cindy) Pyle and Eddie Ray (Vickie) Wall, both of Hopkinsville;
a daughter, Janis (John) McNemar of Statesville, NC
sister, Jane (Charles) Cornell of Elizabethtown, KY
Eight grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.

Born August 30, 1930, in Cincinnati, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Edgar Phillip and Mary Orpha (Stone) Soapes.
Mamie was retired from Western State Hospital where she worked as a nurse's aide for over 20 years.
She was a member of Little River Church of Christ where she helped organize the church's community outreach program, providing food, clothing, and household items for families in need. Exceptionally skilled in handwork, Mamie enjoyed cross stitching, knitting, and quilting.
