Six Charged In Hopkinsville Drug Trafficking Investigation

An investigation that started on September 19th involving several agencies led to six people being arrested in a drug trafficking investigation in Hopkinsville.

Hopkinsville Police say 41-year-old Tapaulda Hancock, 43-year-old Jane Majors, 34-year-old Deerica Finch, 39-year-old Vanchaize Brown, 34-year-old Joseph Brown, and 54-year-old Jay Brown were all arrested in the investigation.

Several pounds of meth, thousands of Fentanyl pills, and thousands of dollars in US currency were all reportedly seized.

The investigation was handled by the Hopkinsville Police Department Special Investigations Unit, DEA Paducah Post Of Duty, the ATF Bowling Green Field Office, Homeland Security, US Postal Inspector, Kentucky State Police, the Calloway County Sheriff’s Office, and the Madisonville Police Department.

Police say they do not condone this kind of behavior and recklessness in the community and are committed to investigating and arresting individuals who engage in such crimes.
