Cadiz Woman Charged After Children Found In Room With Drugs

A Cadiz woman was charged after two children were allegedly found in a room with drugs on Pyle Lane in Hopkinsville after a report of a disturbance Monday night.

Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say 35-year-old Angel Harris was found to have slurred speech and her eyes were dilated when they arrived. After a search of her room, which she allegedly shared with her two nieces ages 1 and 3, a plastic bag was found laying on an air mattress near children’s toys containing meth residue, along with a cut straw with meth residue in the same room.

Harris was arrested and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and two counts of first-degree wanton endangerment.
