Joint Investigation Leads To Drug Trafficking Arrest

A joint investigation involving several agencies led to the arrest of a Hopkinsville man on drug trafficking charges Wednesday.

Hopkinsville Police say they searched the home of Anthony Catlett on a federal search warrant and seized approximately one ounce of a tan powder substance that was determined to contain fentanyl through laboratory testing along with other illegal narcotics.

Investigators with the DEA Paducah Post of Duty, Hopkinsville Police Department’s Special Investigations Unit and Kentucky State Police Drug Enforcement/ Special Investigations West all helped in the investigation.

Catlett was arrested and charged with multiple drug trafficking offenses.

Police say they remain committed to working with its community partners to aggressively investigate and arrest drug dealers in our community.
