Trigg County Schools Hopes To Be Done With Construction Projects By End Of Year

The new co-curricular facility on the grounds of Trigg County Public Schools should be fully operational any day now.

Superintendent Bill Thorpe told Your News Edge the building lacks some finishing touches.

He added there have been no delays in any fall/winter sports because of the building not being ready to use.

Work continues on the high school’s career and technical education building, as well. Thorpe said it could be open before the end of the year.

When the building is complete, you will see state-of-the-art furniture and equipment, bringing the facility into the 21st Century.

Thorpe said being without the CTE building for the last two years has been tough on students and teachers.

Trigg County School students will enjoy fall break the week of October 9th and will return to the classroom on Tuesday, October 17.
