Trigg County Country Ham Festival Parade To Return This Year

A beloved tradition for the Trigg County Country Ham Festival will return this year, after being absent for many years.

Renaissance On Main Director Brianna Hyde shared the news Thursday on the WKDZ Country Club that the festival’s Sunday afternoon parade is coming back.

The parade will return on Sunday afternoon, October 15, at 1:00, and those interested in participating can learn more at Cadiz City Hall.

Hyde is excited about the parade’s return.

Because the announcement comes this close to the festival, there will not be animals in this year’s parade.

For more information, visit Cadiz City Hall at 63 Main Street or call (270) 522-8244.

The 2023 Ham Festival returns on Friday, October 13, and Saturday, October 14. Family-friendly activities will line Main Street from the Cadiz Baptist Church to the stoplight at the intersection of Business 68 and Kentucky 139. West Cadiz Park will also be full of rides and vendors for festivalgoers to partake in.

106.5 WKDZ hosts live coverage of the festival, and will again this year from downtown Cadiz. Festival coverage can be heard on-air, at WKDZradio.com, and on the WKDZ app.
