Marc Clinkenbeard, 78, of Cadiz

Funeral services for 78-year-old Marc Clinkenbeard, of Cadiz, will be 2 PM Thursday at King’s Funeral Home.

Burial will follow in the East End Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 11 AM until the funeral hour.

Survivors include:
Wife of 58 years, Donna Clinkenbeard, of Cadiz;
Son, Nathan (Trina) Clinkenbeard, of Cadiz;
Brother, Rick Chambon, of Washington, Indiana;
Sister, Jan (Tom) Mason, of Odon, Indiana;
And two grandsons.

Rev. Jamus Redd and John Walsh are officiating.

He was born January 18, 1945, in Washington, Indiana to Melvin Clinkenbeard and Virginia England Brothers. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Sara Clinkenbeard; stepfather, Henry Chambon, and his father and mother-in-law; Robert and Imogene Haskins.

He died Monday, September 18, 2023, at Princeton Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Princeton.

He graduated from Plainville High School in 1963. He served in the Army National Guard from 1963-1967 and he was in the Army Reserves form 1967-1969. Marc came to Kentucky in 1967 and started Cadiz Machine and Tool, Inc., which was later sold. In 1985, he opened Professional Tool, Inc., in Hopkinsville.

He was a business owner and tool and die maker by trade. He deeply loved digging Civil War artifacts and spending time with friends of the same interest. He also enjoyed spending time with his grandsons. He was a member of the Cadiz Methodist Church.
