Expected to take around three weeks to complete, a contractor for milling and paving began work in Trigg County at the behest of the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet Friday — working on sections of KY 124, KY 128 and KY 164.
Motorists should be alert for work zone lane restrictions with milling and paving activities at the following locations:
KY 124/Cerulean Road
From KY 139/North Road at mile point 0.0 extending northward to White Road at mile point 2.346, a distance of about 2.35 miles
KY 128/Wallonia Road
From KY 124 at mile point 7.283 extending northward to the Trigg-Caldwell County Line at mile point 11.109, a distance of 3.83 miles
KY 164/Linton Road
From mile point 1.207 near the KY 1891/Lock E Road intersection extending eastward to Beechy Fork Road at mile point 2.847, a distance of 1.64 miles
Paving will begin Monday, September 18.
Motorists should be alert for one lane traffic with alternating flow controlled by flaggers. Some delays are possible during the movement and placement of equipment to facilitate the work.
Rogers Group, LLC, is the prime contractor on this $901,730 group highway improvement project.
The target completion date is October 13.
