In an online ad touting Andy Beshear’s re-election bid for governor, 68 jobs have been purported to have been created in Trigg County during his first four years in office.

However, 35 of those jobs were attached to the PJ Clark Lumber in 2021. The business has since shut down.

Governor Beshear was asked about the status of those jobs during a stop in Cadiz Friday morning.

According to documents on file from Trigg County Circuit Court, two lawsuits have been filed against PJ Clark Lumber — Boiler Supply Company and McCraw Lumber Company.

Load Covering Solutions, also announced during his first term, remains in business on North Rocky Ridge Road, near Wabash.
