Irma Morris, 83, of Brentwood, TN, passed away Monday, August 28, 2023, at Hillcrest Healthcare in Ashland City, TN. Graveside Services will be at 3:00 PM on Friday, September 1, 2023, at Riverside Cemetery in Hopkinsville, KY. Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home has been entrusted by the family to handle the arrangements.
Mrs. Morris was born July 5, 1940, in Trigg County, KY, the daughter of the late Torby and Pearl Fowler McAllister. Irma was a homemaker and a loving mother. She was a member of Brentwood United Methodist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Wayne Morris in 1997; her brothers, Torby McAllister, Jr., and John McAllister; her sister, Betty Ann Rogers; and her grandson, Zach Boaz.
She is survived by her son, Brad Boaz of Ashland City, TN; her daughter, Brigitte Morris Gilchrist of Laguna Beach, CA; her brother, Alex McAllister (Betty) of Cadiz, KY; her sisters, Mary Bogard (Bill) of Cadiz, KY, Madie Calhoun (Tommy) of Cadiz, KY; her brother-in-law, Bama Rogers; and her two grandchildren, Grace and Becket.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made in her memory to the Dementia Society of America Post Office Box 600 Doylestown, PA 18901 USA.
