Paul was the son of the late Arthur Sanders Sr. and Willie Belle Aldridge Sanders. He was born on August 8, 1945, in Henry County.
Paul was a stocker at Wal-Mart and retired from the U.S. Army in 1989. He loved to walk and cook.
He is preceded in death by his brothers, Henry and Arthur Sanders.
Survivors include his wife, Wilma Brison Sanders; Children, Paul Sanders Jr., and James Sanders; Stepson, Johnny Brison; Siblings, Joann Louden, Leanta (Heitzman) Blaine, James (Carol) Sanders; 3 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren, a host of nieces and nephews
Funeral services will be Friday, September 1 at 11:30 am at Gamble Funeral Home in Hopkinsville.
Burial will follow in the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West.
Visitation will be Friday morning at 10:00 at the funeral home.
