Joyce Neathery Mann, age 84 of Hopkinsville, passed away Sunday, August 27, 2023, at Christian Heath Center of natural causes. Graveside service will be held Wednesday, August 30, 2023, at 10:00 AM with Dr. Don Dilday and Rev. Rob Hoffman officiating at Glenwood Cemetery in Elkton, KY. Visitation will be at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home on Tuesday, August 29, 2023, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home has been entrusted by the family to handle the arrangements.
Mrs. Mann was born July 10, 1939, in the Pea Ridge Community in Todd County, KY, the daughter of the late Roy Earl and Elizabeth Lavonia Talley Neathery. Joyce graduated from Todd County High School in 1957 and became a Registered Nurse through Murray State University. She was an RN for Dr. John Cotthoff for over 30 years. She also worked for Jennie Stuart Hospital, Dr. Randall Fielder, and Dr. Kevin Rigtrip. Joyce was a member of St. John United Methodist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Ellen Renee Mann; her brothers, Gene Keith Neathery, Fulton Granville Neathery, James Russell Neathery, and David Earl Neathery; and her great-grandchild, Brilee-Ann Hope Camp.
Survivors include her husband of 62 years, Daniel Mann of Hopkinsville; her children, Elizabeth Norris (Steve) of Hopkinsville, Russell Mann of Hopkinsville, and Steven Mann (Tina) of Franklin, TN; her grandchildren, Carson Joyce (Brittany), Clayton Joyce, Brittany Mann Camp (Lance), Alexus Mann, Jamie Doolin Leach (PJ), Savannah Norris Davis (Jacob), McKenzie Norris Burnham (Barker), and Kaitlyn Norris; and her great-grandchildren, Olivia Camp, Daylan Davis, Hallee Davis, Jude Burnham, Jeter Burnham, Addalyn Burnham, Blakely Norris, Landon Dial, Addison Leach, and Harper Leach.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in her memory to Murray State University School of Nursing, Mason Hall, Murray State University, Murray, KY 42071.
