Authorities have released the name of a Cadiz man that died after he was struck by a vehicle on Interstate 24 in Trigg County Tuesday morning.
Trigg County Sheriff’s deputies say 27-year-old James Beans IV was walking in the area when he was struck by an eastbound SUV driven by Clarence Choate at the US 68 exit.
Law enforcement had received reports of Beans walking into traffic on US 68 before the crash.
Beans was pronounced dead at the scene by the Trigg County Coroner’s Office. Choate was not injured in the wreck.
