A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date for 78-year-old Kenneth Earl Swatzell, of Caldwell County.
Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home has been charged with the arrangements.
Survivors include:
His wife of 60 years, Brenda Swatzell, of Caldwell County;
His son, Mike Swatzell and wife, Bonnie, of Caldwell County;
His daughter, Jeannie Swatzell Lam, of Caldwell County;
His brother, David Swatzell, of Hopkins County;
Three grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
Swatzell died of natural causes Thursday, August 18, 2023, at his home. The family has chosen cremation.
He was born June 5, 1945, in Cadiz, the son of late Hugh D. and Gertie Mae Huggleston Swatzell.
He was a heavy equipment operator and the owner and operator of Swatzell Lawnmower and Parts. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two grandchildren.
