Virginia Irene Meacham Hill of Clarksville, Tennessee, passed away on Saturday, August 12, 2023, at her home of natural causes. Funeral services will be at 12:00 PM on Wednesday, August 16, 2023, at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home in Hopkinsville with Rev. Bobby Spurling officiating and burial to follow at Edgewood Cemetery in Trenton. Visitation will be at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home Hopkinsville Wednesday, August 16, 2023, from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM. Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home has been entrusted by the family to handle the arrangements.
Mrs. Hill was born in Todd County, the daughter of the late Jack R. Sr. and Maggie Louise Hyams Meacham. Irene worked as an accountant and was a member of Lester Memorial Presbyterian Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Jack R. Meacham, Raymond Meacham, Spencer Meacham, and Howard Dean Meacham; her sisters, Mary Hargrove and Frances Cunningham.
Survivors include her nieces Susan (Rick) Phillips, Teresa (Gifford) Turner; nephews Ronald (Connie) Cunningham, and Terry (Mary) Meacham.
Expressions of sympathy may be made in her honor to the American Cancer Society or to Wounded Warriors.
