Traffic Stop Leads To Drug Charges Against Hopkinsville Man

A Hopkinsville man was charged with possession of drugs after a traffic stop on Prosperity Lane Wednesday afternoon.

Hopkinsville Police say they stopped 35-year-old Marion Sisk due to him having active warrants. During the stop, he was found to have meth, marijuana, and a fentanyl patch in his backpack along with drug paraphernalia. Sisk also had a warrant for theft by unlawful taking and operating on a suspended or revoked license stating that on May 20th he reportedly took his previous employer’s truck without permission.

The truck was later found abandoned on Coal Creek Road.

He was arrested Wednesday and charged with operating on a suspended or revoked license, possession of meth, theft by unlawful taking, possession of fentanyl, and possession of marijuana.
