Three Honored For Commitment To Trigg County Agriculture

Three community members involved in the agriculture industry were honored for their service and commitment to Trigg County Agriculture during Tuesday’s Trigg County Farm Tour.

Trigg County Agriculture Committee member Daniel Ingram presented the Friend of Agriculture award to Trigg County Vocational Agriculture instructor and FFA Advisor Jody P’Pool during the Trigg County Farm Tour Lunch. P’Pool and fellow FFA Advisor and agriculture instructor Karen Nolcox was honored during the Trigg County Agriculture Appreciation Dinner in March.

Meanwhile, Trigg County Judge Executive Stan Humphries presented the first Trigg County Agriculture Committee Service Above Self Award to Christian Jones. Humphries noted Jones was recognized following a recommendation to the agriculture committee by his high school agriculture instructors for helping his fellow employees at Seven Springs Farms.

More than 200 people attended the Trigg County Farm Tour this year which was hosted by Barry and Luke Alexander and Cundiff Farms.
