Hopkinsville Police Charge Trenton Woman With Drug Possession

A Trenton woman was charged with possession of drugs on Russellville Road in Hopkinsville Monday night.

Hopkinsville Police say they were called to the area for a suspicious person in a vehicle and as they walked up to the SUV they could see 21-year-old Chandra Weimer rocking back and forth and crushing up some kind of substance.

She reportedly noticed officers when they shined their light into her vehicle and jump, telling officers it was a lortab she was crushing up. Police say after a search of her vehicle an M30 pill that is associated with fentanyl was located along with a marijuana grinder.

She was arrested and charged with first-degree possession of a controlled substance (drug unspecified) and possession of drug paraphernalia.
