Bob Weakley, 94, of Guthrie

The Cook – Webb Funeral Home is honored to have been called to serve the family of Mr. Robert “Bob” Weakley. 

Mr. Bob Weakley, age 94 of Guthrie passed away on Friday afternoon at the Spring Meadow Nursing Home in Clarksville. 

Mr. Weakley was born November 25th, 1928, in South Side, Tennessee son of the late Bailey and Annie Martin Weakley.  He is the last survivor of seven children.  He served in the United States Army from October 1950 to October 1952.  After his discharge, he worked for B.F. Goodrich for over 20 years. He was a member of the Guthrie Methodist Church, loved his family, gardening, and fishing, and enjoyed coffee with his special friends at a local cafe’. 

He is survived by his wife Dorothy Bellar Weakley of Guthrie, they were married for 52 years, also surviving are two sons Marty Weakley and his wife Tonya, Mark Weakley and his wife Jane, one daughter Melessa Rye and her husband Len all of Clarksville, Tennessee.  Also surviving are 9 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild expected next year.

Visitation with the Weakley family will be held on Tuesday, July 25th. 2023 from 11:00 until 1:00 at the Cook – Webb Funeral Home.  Funeral service is scheduled to be conducted at 1:00 in the chapel of the Cook – Webb Funeral Home with Reverend Mark Carrigan officiating, and interment to follow at the Highland Cemetery.
