Ohio County’s Maggie Graves won the GO Junior Golf Southern Series championship on Thursday by eight shots.
Graves shot an 86 at the Hopkinsville Golf and Country Club to finish ahead of second place Meryl Grogan, who shot a 94.
Breckinridge County’s Adelynn Moorman finished in third place with a 95. Lucy Whitfield of Henderson County and Muhlenberg County’s Gracie Galyen each shot a 97 to finish tied for fourth place.
Madisonville-North Hopkins teammates Adison Melton (105) and Josie Morris (113) finished seventh and eighth, respectively.
Bowling Green’s Ellie Morgan won the 13-15 age group with a round of 84, seven shots better than Henderson County’s Ansley Dalton and Paducah’s Harper Hunt.
Campbell Lindsey, who attends University Heights Academy, continued her summer work with a round of 96 to place fourth. Molly Amos shot a 97 to finish in fifth place, which was good for the season-long tour title.
Madisonville’s Reagan Ramsey was the tour runner-up after a sixth-place finish and a round of 105.
