Elizabeth McCoy To Receive Kentucky Chamber Leadership Award

A Hopkinsville woman will be honored with a leadership award by the Kentucky Chamber of Commerce next week in Lexington.

Elizabeth McCoy, the chief executive officer for Planters Bank, will be the recipient of the 2023 Woman in Leadership Award at the third annual Women’s Summit, an annual event that celebrates the accomplishments of women across all industries and areas of Kentucky and discuss the critical role of women in business and politics.

McCoy is the CEO of Planters Bank, which is headquartered in Hopkinsville with locations in Western Kentucky and Montgomery County, Tennessee. She currently serves on the board of directors of the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis; the University of Kentucky Board of Trustees; the Kentucky Economic Development Partnership Board; and serves on several other boards and committees including the Hopkinsville Industrial Foundation, Hopkinsville/Christian County Economic Development Council, and the Dean’s Advisory Council for Gatton College of Business.
