Hopkinsville Police are investigating the theft of 300 to 400 pounds of copper wire from Hopkinsville Solid Waste on Hopkinsville Mount Zoar Road.
An employee told police that someone took the copper wire, valued at $1,600, sometime Monday night.
The theft was reported Wednesday morning and a suspect is listed on the police report.
