Seven dogs found fur-ever homes and over $2,500 was raised during an animal adoption event held Saturday – sponsored by Crown Staffing of Hopkinsville.

Regional Manager Nate Frost told Your News Edge the event was a partnership with the Christian County Animal Shelter and held at the dog park on Pardue Lane.

Frost added it’s important for Crown Services to host community outreach programs, as they have been in Hopkinsville for over 50 years.

Support for the Christian County Animal Shelter will continue, as Crown Staffing will host a fundraising 5K run in September.

The event is still in the planning phase.

Frost thanked his staff for helping to plan Saturday’s event, especially Sarah Jones and Samantha Stark.

Because of the event, three adult dogs and four puppies found permanent homes. If you are interested in helping out the Christian County Animal Shelter, you can reach out to Crown Staffing with any questions you may have.
