Funeral services for 81-year-old Alice Maye Garrett, of Harold, will be at noon Thursday, June 29, at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date in Pikeville.
Burial will follow in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West.
Visitation will be from 11 AM until the funeral hour.
Survivors include:
Two sons, Brian Garrett, of Oakland Park, Florida, and James Garrett and his wife Angie Garrett, of Ft. Campbell;
Brother, Tommy Ratliff, of Southgate, Michigan;
Sister, Mary Jo Jerzakowski, of Mishawaka, Indiana;
And two grandchildren.
Garrett died Tuesday, June 20, 2023, at Greg & Noreen Wells Hospice Care Center.
She was born in Pikeville on August 27, 1941, the daughter of the late James and Lucy Ratliff.
She spent 20 years in the Pikeville County School System.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by, her brothers, Jimmy Ratliff, Palmer Ratliff, Benny Ratliff, John Ratliff, and Cecil Ratliff; her sisters, LuCresa Hamiton, Faye Gilliam, Zenieth Hamiton, Pershing Ratliff, Lois Kennard, and Elizabeth Jordan.
