Oak Grove Traffic Stop Leads To Drug Trafficking Charges

A woman was charged with trafficking drugs after a traffic stop on Hugh Hunter Road in Oak Grove Friday morning.

Oak Grove Police say they stopped 37-year-old Nora Wade after her vehicle crossed the center line several times. During the stop, officers could reportedly smell the odor of marijuana and when Wade was asked about anything illegal being in the vehicle she permitted them to search the vehicle.

After a search of the vehicle, police say marijuana, along with a pill container containing with what is believed to be ecstasy,  oxycodone,  hydrocodone, and one unspecified pill were found.

She was arrested and charged with prescription controlled substance not in proper container, first-degree possession of a controlled substance (drug unspecified), possession of marijuana, and first-degree trafficking of a controlled substance (drug unspecified).
