The Trigg County Country Ham Festival committee is seeking sponsorships and ideas for its annual event t-shirt.
During Wednesday afternoon’s meeting, Cadiz Event Director Janelle Nichols told the committee they already have sponsorships from Cadiz-Trigg County Tourism with a $20,000 donation and Wabash with a $5,000 donation.
Committee members were asked to go out into the community to seek support.
Sponsorship money is due by Tuesday, August 1, with various levels from $100 to $5,000 being sought.
In other news, Nichols told the committee she is looking for someone to design the 2023 festival shirt.
Nichols also announced that online vendor applications are available on the city’s website here.
The festival committee will also utilize Marshall County Golf Carts in Benton to borrow golf carts for the four-day festival.
The festival is scheduled from Thursday, October 12 through Sunday, October 15, in downtown Cadiz.
