Memorial services for 88-year-old William Daniel Oglesby, of Crofton, will be Saturday afternoon, May 13, at 1:00, at the Voice of Faith Church.
Visitation will begin Saturday morning at 11:00 at the church
Dogwood Funerals & Cremations of Crofton is in charge of the arrangements.
Oglesby died at 8:34 p.m. Sunday, April 30, 2023, at Baptist Health Deaconess – Madisonville.
A native of Muhlenberg County, KY he was born April 15, 1935, the son of the late Clayton and Bessie Oglesby. He was a retired office machine technician. He was a loyal member of the Christian County High School Band Boosters for many years. He was a member of Voice of Faith.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son: William Toby Oglesby; his brothers: Oliver Wayne Oglesby, Billy Hugh Oglesby, and Bruce Clayton Oglesby; and his sisters: PaulAnn Oglesby and Demple Dee Oglesby Hight.
Survivors include his wife: Helen M. Oglesby; his daughter: Valerie Oglesby (Alan) Hill of Madisonville, KY; his brother: Jimmy Greg (Donna) Oglesby of Crofton, KY; his grandchildren: Justin William Thomas Hill, Jaren Christopher Alan (Jessica) Hill, and Rhianna Elizabeth Marie Hill; and one great-granddaughter: Amy Grace Ianna Hill.
